Community Food Festival – Hexthorpe Primary School 21 October 2024 City of Doncaster Council’s Communities team and the local neighbourhood policing team were on hand to help at Hexthorpe Primary School’s Cultural Food Festival on Thursday 10 October. -

Adult Family & Community Learning We provide courses and workshops for adults across Doncaster, we offer community learning courses such as Family History and Digital Skills; Family Learning courses that enable parents/carers to support their child's learning as well as Functional Skills accredited courses in English and maths. We also offer ESOL courses as well as Conversational English for those for whom English is an additional language. Most courses are fully funded so free to attend. -
Balby & Hexthorpe Community Engagement CIC Community team to engage the community in activities and also to reduce the anti social Behaviour and social isolation within the area. We do Hygiene Packs, Food Packs and Period poverty packs also to support local community -
Caged Steel Communities CIC Caged Steel Communities CIC aims to promote improved physical health and mental wellbeing through the delivery of sport-based activities and fitness-based activities. We will offer Martial Arts coaching and fitness programmes as a means to encourage children, young people and adults to live an active, healthy lifestyle, build social and life skills, and increase personal confidence by participating in group activities. We teach in schools' borough wide and in the community. -
Dice Enterprise We are a non-for-profit social enterprise based in Yorkshire that provides activities, events and services for people with a disability, predominantly adults aged 18 and above. We are committed to providing a variety of events that not only appeal to people with a disability but also provide a range of opportunities for them engage whether they want to take part or just observe. Events are determined by ideas and information provided by disabled people, and those working with and supporting their development. We want and provide what people with a disability want, and in many respects, need. We will be working with other local groups and organisations to co-deliver events where possible to maximise opportunity and impact. Friends of Hexthorpe Flatts Park We are a group of volunteers aiming to bring the local community and all park users together in an effort to bring forward improvements to the security, facilities and physical appearance of Hexthorpe Flatts Park. We act as a pressure group to get things done, we make practical improvement to the park and we engage with other local people and organisaitons. We hold regular meetings and all are welcome. -
